“Cabin Fever” By Judy Vars

As an artist, my work is a reflection of my passions, moods, and imagination. I paint across several mediums including oil, acrylic, and encaustic beeswax. Each piece is born from the interplay of what I wish to create and the feelings I aim to evoke. Whether it's the mysterious allure of ravens, the vibrant beauty of flowers, or the profound silence of landscapes, I let my intuition guide my choice of medium and technique.

My subjects find me in moments of daydreams, I seek inspiration from everywhere around me, and when a vision forms, I breathe life into it through paint. At times, I find myself captivated by the the fleeting mystery of life embodied in vanitas still life. I delve into subjects like skulls, butterflies and ravens, allowing them to reveal their stories upon my canvas.

The scenes I choose are often infused with drama—a bright, clear night or the golden hour's warm glow between sunset and dusk captivate my brush. I am drawn to images rich with hidden meanings.

I draw inspiration from the world and the talented individuals within it, allowing my heart and mind to interpret these stimuli into a visual language. My art encompasses what I feel and perceive, translating emotions and observations into a unique creative expression.

Each creation is a testament to my journey as an artist, combining diverse techniques and media into a cohesive, individual vision.
